The Half Human Air is a sturdy, commercial-grade air rower that draws obvious comparison to the Concept2 RowErg, which it resembles closely but undercuts on price. It offers 10 levels of effort-scaling air resistance set by a dial, a 5-inch backlit LCD, and, unlike the bare-bones Concept2, eight on-board workout programmes including three interval modes and a game.
Bluetooth connects it to the D-Fit and Kinomap apps for coached sessions, virtual routes and multiplayer rowing, and a padded seat and adjustable footrests keep longer sessions comfortable. It carries a two-year warranty. At £749 it is a capable commercial-style rower, though at the time of writing it is out of stock, so check availability before setting your heart on it.
